Attorney Miller admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court

In May, 2009, Attorney Miller was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C. Attorney  Miller attended an admission ceremony in D.C. where, upon motion, he was administered an oath in the Courtroom of the U.S. Supreme Court with 8 of the 9 the justices presiding. As a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, Attorney Miller can argue cases before the U.S. Supreme Court as well as all of the the rights and duties commensurate with being an officer of the Court.

Attorney Miller admitted to Ohio Bar

During 2007, Attorney Miller was admitted to the Ohio Bar as a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio.  In response to requests for service from various individuals and businesses in Ohio, Attorney Miller can practice law before all levels of Court in the State of Ohio.  In addition, Attorney Miller is licensed to practice law before all state courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States Tax Court.

Attorney Miller earns Academic Doctorate


In August, 2008 Attorney Miller successfully defended his dissertation at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. With this defense, Attorney Miller has earned the degree of Doctor of Business Administration. Dr. Miller's dissertation was entitled An empirical investigation of the impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 on agency costs in domestic, New York Stock Exchange listed firms. His dissertation was the first research to investigate and illustrate that there was a measurable benefit that flowed from the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act legislation and related regulations.
