I believe in the value of relationships. I view every client relationship like a partnership and truly believe that my success is a result of your success.

I am committed to providing close, personal attention to my clients and take pride in giving you the assurance that the personal assistance you receive comes from years of advanced training, technical experience and financial acumen. My continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education, state-of-the-art computer technology and extensive business relationships is indicative of my commitment to excellence.

My practice focuses on individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. I am careful to keep a range of services broad enough so clients can get their legal and professional services from one source yet narrow enough to maintain quality in the services I do provide.

I bring to you over twenty years of professional experience. I am licensed in Pennsylvania as a Certified Public Accountant and separately licensed as an Attorney and Counselor at Law. I received my bachelor degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Gannon University. During my last semester in college, I sat for and successfully passed the Uniform CPA Examination upon the first attempt and received the Gold Medal Award for the highest score in Pennsylvania. I later received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. I have also completed my Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting at Anderson University.

In addition to practicing law, accounting, and business consultation, I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at Edinboro University where I teach introductory and advanced courses in Financial Accounting. Previously, I taught various accounting and business law courses for twelve years at Gannon University. There I have serviced as the Director of Graduate Programs and Associate Director of the Dahlkemper School of Business (with direct responsibility over the Master of Business Administration Program and oversite of the Master of Public Administration Program) for three years and Director of the Accounting Program for over four years.  Among the courses I have taught are Financial and Managerial Accounting (at the graduate and undergraduate levels), Individual and Advanced Taxes, Intermediate and Advanced Financial Accounting, Applied Ethical Reasoning for Accountants, and Legal Environment of Business I and II.

I have also presented and published many articles and papers and remainded active in varous professional and volunteer activities. Please see the activities section of this site for more information.
